The contact form collects your name, email address, telephone number and your message, together with an optional marketing consent. We use these to answer you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who write to us, and consent for any marketing you opt into.

The Private Hire enquiry form collects your name, contact details, your dates, the size and nature of your party and anything else you choose to tell us. We use these to prepare and discuss a quotation. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and consent for any marketing you opt into.

The newsletter signup collects your email address. We use it to send occasional offers and news, and only with your consent. Every message we send includes a way to stop them.

Room bookings are handled by Cloudbeds, our booking system. The details you enter when booking are processed by Cloudbeds under their own terms and privacy policy, which are shown to you at the time of booking.

Form submissions are stored in a database and emailed to the house so we can reply. We do not sell or share your details for advertising.

Four companies process data on our behalf to run this website: Cloudflare (hosting, our form database, and the Turnstile check that keeps automated spam out of our forms), Resend (delivers form notification emails to us), Sanity (holds the website’s written content and photographs, not guest data), and Cloudbeds (the booking engine). Each processes data only to provide its service.

Enquiries and contact messages are kept for [PLACEHOLDER: retention period, e.g. 24 months] and then deleted. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Booking records are kept by Cloudbeds according to their policy and by us for as long as tax law requires.

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to or restrict how we use it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
