Oxford & the Cotswolds
Oxford City Centre is only 9 minutes away on the train, with no car and no parking needed. Bursting with history and architecture, there are plenty of things to do and see including the many colleges. Oxford is the birthplace of Alice in Wonderland and the location to a few famous film and tv sites including Harry Potter and Downton Abbey.
If museums are more your thing check out the Museum of Natural History, The Ashmolean or the Pitt Rivers. There are a variety of shows on at the Oxford Playhouse and New The Theatre that are worth getting tickets for.
Eating & Drinking Around Us
The Churchill Court is perfectly situated for food lovers, surrounded by exceptional local pubs and eateries. Turn left out of our doors for The George and Dragon, offering classic pub dishes and generous portions. Turn right for The White House, a pleasant 20-minute walk located next village over in Bladon.
Just a short 10-minute drive away, you'll find Jeremy Clarkson’s famous pub, The Farmer's Dog, along with The Farmer's Puppy housed in the iconic Grand Tour tent - well worth a visit for fantastic food and even better local beer.
A short drive into the centre of Witney offers plenty more choices, from familiar favourites like PizzaExpress to local independent spots such as Huffkins bakery and Suwanna Thai restaurant.
For dining further afield, a quick 4-minute walk takes you to the train station, putting you just 9 minutes away from central Oxford. There, you can experience some of the city's finest dining, including the iconic Mediterranean conservatory dining at Gees Restaurant & Bar or riverside dining at The Cherwell Boathouse.
Cotswold, Oxford & Bicester Village
The Churchill Court is situated in a prime location, a 4 minute walk to Hanborough station which provides routes to Oxford, Reading and London. Equally, Woodstock and Witney are 5 minute drives.
Woodstock offers quaint shops with traditional countryside attire. Witney has a variety of stores including Next, H&M and New Look and with free parking makes for a nice day out.
If it's designer you're after, Bicester Village is the place for you. Only a 25 minute drive from The Churchill Court and host to over 160 big name brands including Ralph Lauren, Gucci & Burberry.
The newly renovated Westgate Centre in Oxford has a wide variety of shops and the high street offers even more with some extra sightseeing spots.
